Denny's

This particular Denny's was not what I've come to expect fromother Denny's restaurants. The waitress never returned to see how we were. My companion had to get up and adk fot napkins. She put the check down without a word. And she gave us a refill right before we left.

If you been to Denny's before in your life then you know they're basically all set up the same. This particular location every time my family goes the food is very good. The only reason I didn't leave a 5-star was because in my opinion they do not work enough waiters and waitresses at one time. Unfortunately this means it takes longer to get your food then other places. But the restaurant was very clean and all the customers seem to be enjoying their food very much.

The cook up there tommy is a beast !! And the waitress Abby is just delightful . Absolutely love this place .

I would give them 3,5 but this option isn't available.Hey guys you didn't know there is "Crazy Spicy Skillet" Expert coming.As soon as I came ordered Crazy Spicy Skillet and coke.In about 10 minutes the server brought me Light version of the food. It was missing some of ingredients and was looking smaller than at the menu picture.They fixed the problem soon and recooked it.Taste is good but not really spicyService is not bad. Food was good, service was great and prompt and prices were comparable to other sit down restaurants.

We really enjoyed our meal. They were short on staff. On the servers. There were only two working. But they worked very hard to get us taken care of. They were very nice and considerate. Always coming back and checking on us and see if we wanted anything. They were very very busy. And I think that they should get a recommendation for doing that hard job. And the food was great. But the coffee was cold. But she made sure that she got it hot for me. Great staff but understaffed.

Got in the door and got seated right away. The waitress was super nice and gave us extra Oreos to break for our ice cream. The whole place was clean including the bathrooms. The food was hot and the fruit was fresh. The best part was the waitress. She was so nice and helped us a lot. Best of all Denny's.

The food was very tasty and our waitress was a total pro, juggling multiple tables without missing a beat and very friendly. Unfortunately this location was a little lacking in the cleanlinesses department. The bathroom stunk to high heaven and the dining room needed a sweeping. Still, pretty good for a Denny's.

Where else can you order a steak, while your best friend orders pancakes, and your boyfriend orders dessert all at 3am

Prices added up quickly! But portion sizes were good, and all the kids were happy. Our waitress shared about her 5 kids (sorry, I can't remember her name!) But she was wonderful and I enjoyed the conversation while we ordered our food. Thank you!

Most times we have to wait extra long time for our meal to be served,but thought we'd try it today on veterans day as my husband is an air force vet. They were ready for the morning breakfast. Got our meal in 15 minutes. Delicious.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Went there today around 10:40am. It was not busy. While waiting about 15 minutes to be seated and no one was in front of me. A guy came up to pay for his food and was complaining about the poor service. After finally getting seated, I left after waiting another 15 minutes for someone to come to my table. They had plenty of staff but only 2 of the seven people on staff did any work.

Food was really good and portion sizes were good. Server was friendly but service was a little slow. I'm thinking it was just our timing.

A go to place for my family. All the staff are super friendly and we love to sit at the counter. Favorite foods: omelettes and burgers.

Best pancakes EVER.... In the world. ( cinnamon roll pancakes)

To pricey the same meal at IHOP would have been a lot cheaper with all you could eat pancakes. My breakfast including milk was $11 for two pancakes sausage, bacon, eggs no hash browns.

Great birthday meal. Friendly & good service.

We waited 25 minutes before we even have our drink order. When after 20 minutes we still hadn't received our drinks, we left. It was 2 pm on a Tuesday! 2 other tables in the store! We watched while 2 other employees chatted away and wrapped silverware! No excuse!!! Will never return!

Took a long time to get any service. Meal was mediocre at best. Would've had a better time at McDonald's breakfast.

Great food and service! I recommend the bourbon glazed sizzling skillet or steak and bourbon glazed chicken with 2 sides and bread if you have a big appetite ! I enjoyed both on different occasions.

Food really ispretty good at a very reasonable price. Clean inside and a nice location.

We appreciate you being open on Christmas, we have relatives 3 hours away and it makes it easier on everyone to meet there half way. Surprisingly busy today, which caused delays on food and some variables of orders forgotten or missing but overall not too bad for how busy they were.

You can always count on Denny's for a great grand slam no matter where you are

Cleanliness was just average. Food was just average. Came out as ordered but was barely warm. Ordered coffee but took a while to get a refill.

The wait staff here are all soooooooooo friendly. This is a cozy place to eat. 😁

Outstanding as usual! Staff is great! Food is great! It always astounds me how people can give a neg reviews while they have expectations that could never be met. This is a 24 hr establishment that does an amazing job keeping up with flow. In this day and age it’s just easier to criticize than compliment! Maybe it makes people feel better about themselves to tear others down. Joe, and JR do a great job running this location. Melissa, Ashleigh, Rhonda, Abby, and Audrey always hustle and go out of their way to keep things flowing! Great job staff!

Seating was very slow, the grits were very soupy but the rest if the food was good. Our server was great.

Our waitress was very helpful and gave good service. The food was very good as always. We enjoy the savings as well by being AARP members.

Arrived at 6 am 4 people inside, waiter asked for our order, I asked for biscuits and gravy and was told that the gravy was not available because it would not firm up. So from midnight to the time I placed my order Noone made any more gravy. So much for biscuits and gravy or country fried steak with gravy. Both of which are offered on the menu . I asked for a senior discount but was told that if I didn't have an AARP card I could only use my military discount

I was served raw chicken. Do you understand how sick you can make people by serving raw chicken. I won't ever eat at another dennys anywhere ever again.

Very clean. Our server was outstanding. She seated us within 5 minutes and had our drinks at our table immediately. We ordered a small snack and our server kept our drinks filled without asking and had our check ready when needed. The entire staff was polite. The Ford was fresh and delicious.

Steak wasn't even hot enough to melt butter. Waited 20 minutes for just our drinks and another hour for our food. Very disappointed

Denny's was pleasant and quiet after spending the morning in a doctor's office being examined. The sandwich I had was delicious and I had fresh fruit. Just enough food. Service was good.

Went for lunch on a Friday. Wasn't busy at all. Got seated right away and I was surprised that for being remodeled IT still smelled like the old Danny's . Our server was extremely friendly and we didn't have to ask for a thing. Extra napkins, or drink..... she was on top of things. Our food was "not good for you" sloppy, & was so good.

Its Denny's what more can you say. We always get breakfast food there and its always great. Prices have gone up but prices have gone up everywhere. Guess it was a little sticker shock but seems everywhere we go we get sticker shock.

Fantastic diner! This place always delivers! The staff is amazing! Everyone in there helps everyone. Friendly as well as great food!

No more 4,5,6$ menu.👎Now it's just as if not more expensive as everywhere else.For a while this location showed vast improvement, now it's turning back into the denny's it used to be and that is not a good thing.

Loved it! Great Food and Adorable Service. Messed up the Order but was a really nice guy. Just stay positive and nice and they won't give you any trouble for reordering!! *Positivity* (Note: The Guy messed up the Order but you could tell he was having a rough night.)

Very nice establishment! Good prices for good and a unique breakfast experience. They have lots of menu options that other joints just don't have. The waitress and host were both very attentive. Will be back again!

One of the best service, clean, ration dennys around our stomping grounds. Nice job!

The food was fine. The service was ridiculously slow. A man who walked in right before us, was waited on and served his meal before we were even waited on (he had a different server than my significant other and I). We were seated and then had to wait 20 minutes to be waited on. Our check was delivered within 13 minutes after receiving our food. There were two men sitting at the back of the dining area. They appeared to be managers. One was coughing into his hands (in this day and age, you'd think someone in the food industry would know to use their inside elbow and NOT their hands) They were loud enough to be heard four booths away. Their discussion included curse words, an obsession regarding the expense of Taco Tuesday, drinking cocktails and how just one causes them to be unable to function the next day, to literally naming an employee and their insubordination as well as needing to "write them up" and speak with them.

Very fast service and good meals.

Not very busy, and found out they were shorthanded. However......sat for 30 minutes with waitress passing me by to fill coffee cups, talk to some regulars SEVERAL TIMES. Two other tables that came after me had their orders taken. When next pass by without order taken I walked to cashier and offered to pay for my hot tea and told cashier my order was never taken. Tea became on the house. Manafer really needed to get a handle on running restaurant better regardless of shorthanded or not.

Denny's in lake st Louis is a great place to eat! Warm and friendly service and the food is amazing!
